AEWIN is glad to announce the latest high-performance model, SCB-1943, powered by Intel 4th Gen Xeon Scalable processors (Sapphire Rapids). Benefited from Intel 4th Gen Xeon Scalable processors, the SCB-1943 features high speed DDR5 and increased I/O bandwidth with PCIe 5.0. In addition, Compute Express Link (CXL) is supported for efficient communication between CPU, GPU, and FPGA accelerators to achieve excellent performance and low latency with shared memory resources.

Built to support vRAN acceleration, the SCB-1943 also utilizes Intel 4th Gen Xeon Scalable processors with vRAN Boost (Sapphire Rapids-EE) to deliver ultimate performance & power efficiency. It is optimized to drive down the TCO of deploying and operating vRAN infrastructure, deliver immediate compatibility with fully integrated 4G/5G accelerations. The SCB-1943 delivers optimal network computing performance and enables high throughput and excellent speed for compute intensive workloads for applications such as 5G Open RAN, vRAN, MEC server, and more. By connecting high-speed NVMe SSDs to SCB-1943, Intel VROC provides extraordinary performance and enterprise-grade RAID for reliability, availability and serviceability.

There are multiple models of the SCB-1943 series. The SCB-1943A is a 2U, single socket network computing platform having 8x DDR5 memory slots up to 4800MHz, 8x PCIe 5.0 expansion slots for AEWIN wide coverage NIC cards with 1G/10/25/40/100G copper/fiber interfaces or other Accelerators & NVMe SSDs for flexible functionality enhancement. The SCB-1943A provides the flexibility to change the 2x PCIe slots to 1x PCIe x16 slot for standard PCIe form factor which can install off-the-shelf add-on card for additional functions required. It can support 400G NIC card installed such as Nvidia Mellanox PCIe 5.0 NIC.

Virtualization is supported to accomplish ultimate utilization and great scalability which make SCB-1943 a perfect network appliance. The excellent performance, rich I/O, advanced security technologies, and extraordinary expandability would not compromise the size of the SCB-1943C. The SCB-1943C is a 2U platform with short-depth design of 600mm for easy deployment to accomplish real-time applications at the edge. It supports 2x dual-width PCIe x16 slots for GPU/FPGA to enable further intelligent applications. In addition to the features above, the SCB-1943 series support 6 SATA and 2 NVMe which make it also suitable for various kinds of storage applications.

Regarding the reliability and cybersecurity, the SCB-1943 supports OT006B module for AEWIN Trusted Secure Boot (TSB V2 module) to deliver firmware resiliency by protecting against data corruption and tampering. In addition, the system supports TPM 2.0 module to protect its boot-up process. Furthermore, there is enhanced Intel QuickAssist Technology (Intel QAT) to accelerate data encryption, compression and decryption for secure content delivery.
