AEWIN Launched Ultra-Compact Fanless Network Appliance, SCB-6917 and SCB-6918
AEWIN proudly introduces the SCB-6917 and SCB-6918, compact fanless desktop network appliances powered by the Intel Atom X7203C/X7405C processor (codenamed Amston Lake-C). Both platforms are equipped with DDR5 memory of up to 16GB and a maximum data rate of 4800MHz to offer higher bandwidth and increased power efficiency compared to previous DDR generations. Enhanced memory performance accelerates packet processing and reduces latency for data-intensive network workloads.
SCB-6917 has 4x 2.5GbE RJ45 and 1GbE SFP ports while SCB-6918 has 4x 2.5GbE RJ45 and 2x 10GbE SFP+ ports with additional packet switch. Both platforms provide three M.2 slots (1x E key, 1x B key, 1x M key) to allow the integration of 5G modules with SIM slot and eSIM chip for high-speed & low-latency wireless connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 modules for higher throughput & transmission efficiency, and storage modules for local data expansion. Additional interfaces include 1x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, 1x RS232 COM port, and 1x RJ45 console port for system management and maintenance.
Powered by Intel Atom x7000C processors, the platforms integrate Intel AES-NI to accelerate encryption and decryption workloads which maintain strong security performance without compromising system responsiveness. It offers flexible TPM 2.0 options, supporting both cost-effective Intel PTT and hardware-isolated discrete TPM to deliver robust data protection and system reliability. Additionally, integrated Intel Boot Guard and OS Guard safeguard the platform across both boot time and runtime operations.
