AEWIN high-performance network appliance, SCB-1941, is now supporting the latest Intel 5th Gen Xeon Scalable processor codenamed Emerald Rapids. The SCB-1941 is a 1U rackmount system with 4x PCIe Gen5 expansion slots for AEWIN self-designed NIC cards with 1G/10/25/40/100G copper/fiber interfaces or other Accelerators & NVMe SSDs for flexible functionality expansion.

AEWIN is glad to introduce our IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) module, OT016. It provides optional IPMI features to AEWIN Raptor Lake Mainstream Network System, SCB-1836. OT016 is embedded with onboard AST2500, ASPEED’s 6th generation of BMC (Baseboard Management Controller)) chip, supporting eSPI_1.8V, Enhanced Serial Peripheral which has lower power consumption compared to LPC of 3.3V.

Performant Network Appliance, SCB-1947A powered by AMD Zen 4c EPYC 8004 CPU Codenamed Siena

The SCB-1947A is AEWIN’s newest 2U performant Network Appliance powered by single AMD Zen 4c EPYC 8004 CPU codenamed Siena. It is a single-socket network appliance powered by AMD Siena CPUs with up to 64 cores and 225W TDP. Providing 12x DDR5 4800MHz memory slots and 4x PCIe 5.0 x8 slots at the front panel for AEWIN self-design NICs with 1G to 100G copper/fiber interfaces with/without bypass function. There is additional 1x PCIe5.0 x16 slot at the rear side of SCB-1947A ready for installing off-the-shelf PCIe Gen5 card to expand further function. It can support NIC card up to 400G such as NVIDIA Mellanox PCIe 5.0 NIC.

Two of AEWIN’s Network Expansion Modules, NFQ201AL and NFQ201BL, are ready to the market. Powered by the Intel® XL710-BM2 chipset, both modules have 2x 40GbE QSFP+ ports and one pair fiber bypass (multi-mode/ single mode). It is with AEWIN standard Expansion Module form factor of PCIe x8 connection. The front-access design makes them easy to maintain/service and the modules are compatible with various kinds of AEWIN existing platforms providing great flexibility to tailor the configurations required for each solution.

AEWIN Launches Performant Network Appliance, SCB-1947 Series, Powered by AMD Siena

AEWIN is glad to launch the newest 2U performant Network Appliance, SCB-1947, powered by single AMD Zen 4c EPYC 8004 CPU codenamed Siena. The latest AMD Siena CPU is a production of 5nm manufacturing technology, having up to 64 cores (extreme density of 2CCX/CCD) and 225W TDP with lower energy consumption compared to EPYC SP5. Benefitted from the features of Siena SP6 CPU including the best performance per watt, 6 channels of DDR5 with 2 DIMMs per channel, high speed I/O of 96x PCIe Gen5 lanes and 48x P-links CXL 1.1, AEWIN designs 1U(SCB-1945)/2U(SCB-1947) platforms with energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, great expandability, high computing power, and low-latency communicating ability. As SCB-1945 has been introduced last quarter, we will focus on SCB-1947 here.
