AEWIN SCB-1941 Supports the Latest Intel 5th Gen Xeon Scalable Processor, Emeral Rapids-SP, for Networking and Edge Computing
AEWIN high-performance network appliance, SCB-1941, is now supporting the latest Intel 5th Gen Xeon Scalable processor codenamed Emerald Rapids. The SCB-1941 is a 1U rackmount system with 4x PCIe Gen5 expansion slots for AEWIN self-designed NIC cards with 1G/10/25/40/100G copper/fiber interfaces or other Accelerators & NVMe SSDs for flexible functionality expansion.
Powered by Intel ‘s latest Emerald Rapids processor, the SCB-1941 supports 8x high-speed DDR5 of up to 5600MHz to increase the overall system performance. To speed up data-loading, optional two hot-swappable U.2 NVMe SSD trays are available on expansion slot. The mainboard itself also supports dual M.2 2280 NVMe SSD as high-speed OS boot devices. In addition, Compute Express Link (CXL) is supported for efficient communication between CPU, GPU, and FPGA accelerators to achieve excellent performance and low latency with shared memory resources.
Regarding the reliability and security, the SCB-1941 supports Trusted Secure Boot (TSB V2 module) to deliver firmware resiliency by monitoring, verifying, and automatically correction. Also, TPM 2.0 module can be installed to protect its boot-up process. Furthermore, there is enhanced Intel QuickAssist Technology (Intel QAT) to accelerate data encryption, compression and decryption for secure content delivery.
Virtualization is supported to accomplish ultimate utilization and great scalability which makes SCB-1941 a perfect network appliance to deliver ultimate performance & power efficiency. With built-in Intel Accelerator Engines including Intel DSA, Intel DLB, and Intel IAA, the SCB-1941 enable faster data transfer for applications such as ADC, Cybersecurity, MEC, vRAN, etc.
