Two-phase Immersion Cooling Design of SCB-1946

AEWIN Technologies Co., Ltd. (doing business as AEWIN), KENMEC MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CO., LTD. (doing business as KENMEC), and Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) have collaborated to enable a two-phase immersion cooling design on AEWIN’s latest network appliance SCB-1946 for better thermal management and energy efficiency.

Two-phase immersion cooling technology is one of the best solutions for dissipating ultrahigh power consumption in HPC (high performance computing) applications. In the tripartite cooperation, AEWIN and KENMEC jointly developed a 2U two-phase immersion cooling system and worked with ITRI to optimize the condenser performance and enhance the processor-boiler heat dissipation, thereby improving the system’s heat dissipation capacity and significantly reducing cooling energy consumption.

AEWIN SCB-1946 with KENMEC two-phase immersion cooling design achieves a heat dissipation capacity of over 2000W for the immersion system and the PUE (power usage effectiveness) approaches 1.0, meeting the low-carbon energy-saving goals and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) requirements, while also reducing operational costs from an economic perspective.
