AEWIN is proud to announce the release of the latest Flagship Model powered by dual Intel® 4th generation Xeon Scalable processors (Sapphire Rapids-SP), the SCB-1942 series. The increased CPU cores up to 60C of Sapphire Rapid-SP offers remarkable performance to achieve the growing demands of workloads. Benefited from Intel® 4th-Gen Xeon SP, the SCB-1942 features high speed DDR5 and increased I/O bandwidth with PCIe 5.0. In addition, Compute Express Link (CXL) is supported for efficient communication between CPU, GPU, and FPGA accelerators to achieve superb performance and low latency with shared memory resources. The SCB-1942 enables high throughput and excellent speed for compute intensive workloads for applications such as 5G Open RAN, vRAN, MEC server, etc.

There are multiple models of the SCB-1942 series. The SCB-1942A is a 2U, 2-socket network computing platform having 16x memory socket of DDR5 up to 4800MHz, 4x PCIe 5.0 expansion slots, and 4x PCIe 4.0 slots for AEWIN wide coverage NIC cards with 1G/10/25/40/100G copper/fiber interfaces or other Accelerators & NVMe SSDs for flexible functionality enhancement. The SCB-1942A provides the flexibility to change the 2x PCIe slots to 1x PCIe x16 slot for standard PCIe form factor which can install off-the-shelf add-on card for additional function required. It can support 400G NIC card installed such as Mellanox PCIe 5.0 NIC.

Regarding the reliability and security, the SCB-1942 is with CRPS and supports OT006A/B module for AEWIN Trusted Secure Boot (TSB V2 module) or Intel® Platform Firmware Resilience (Intel® PFR) to deliver firmware resiliency by monitoring, verifying, and automatically correction. In addition, the system supports TPM 2.0 module to protect its start-up process. Furthermore, there are enhanced Intel® QuickAssist Technology (Intel® QAT) to accelerate data encryption and compression for secure content delivery.

Virtualization is supported to accomplish ultimate utilization and great scalability which make SCB-1942 a perfect network appliance. The excellent performance, rich I/O, advanced security technologies, and extraordinary expandability would not compromise the size of the SCB-1942C. The SCB-1942C is a 2U platform with short-depth design of 600mm for easy deployment to accomplish real-time applications at edge. Moreover, SCB-1942C supports 2x dual-width PCIe x16 slots for GPU/FPGA to enable further intelligent applications. In addition to the features above, the SCB-1942 series support 10 SATA which make it also suitable for various kinds of storage applications.
