AEWIN Announces Dual 10G Network Expansion Module-NFT203A

AEWIN is glad to share with you that our latest Network Expansion Module called NFT203A is launched. It has dual 10G SFP+ ports powered by BROADCOM BCM57412. Based on PCIe Gen 3 x8 Golden finger, it is feasible with various AEWIN platforms in our wide-range product portfolio from 1U edge network appliances to high-performance 2U Edge servers. NFT203A is easy-adopted to the systems with its front-access design for diverse networking solutions.

Regarding the remote control, its manageability includes WOL (Wake-on-LAN) to access the device from the outside and RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) to speed up the transmission. Furthermore, SR-IOV functionality can be enabled to offer DMA access for virtual machines. Moreover, it supports VMQ (Virtual Machine Queue) to optimize the virtualization for better resource utilization.

The NCT202A also offers enhanced packet forwarding performance with the support of DPDK. The function has been verified with tests of pre-defined frame sizes (64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 1280 and 1518 bytes) which is for simulating various applications. The results show DPDK reaches line rate (100%) in all packet frame sizes. Through the integration of cost-effective NFT203A module and AEWIN edge network appliances, customers’ requirements can be fulfilled by building the exact configurations via ready-to-use solutions for diverse networking applications.
