The NFQ201AL and NFQ201BL are two of AEWIN’s latest Network Expansion Modules, powered by the Intel® XL710-BM2 chipset, with 2x 40GbE QSFP+ ports and one pair fiber bypass (multi-mode/ single mode). Offered in the AEWIN standard Expansion Module form factor for PCIe x8 connection, its front-access design makes the NIC easy to maintain/service and compatible with many of AEWIN existing platforms for building the exact network solution you need per cases.

With Dynamic Device Personalization (DDP), workload-specific optimizations can be enabled by a programmable pipeline for improved packet processing efficiency. Along with DPDK, it offers enhanced packet forwarding performance. To achieve the utmost utility of the system, virtualization is the technology we are heading to. Single-Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) offers DMA for virtual machines and Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) extraordinarily improves throughput and overall system function by reducing overhead associated with I/O switching.

In addition to the advanced functionalities mentioned (DDP, DPDK, SR-IOV, and VMDq) for greater capability, its network Bypass is available to ensure maximum availability in catastrophic events. We offer MCU controlled Bypass with configurable modes in NFQ201AL to keep network packet flowing through the network. Regarding NFQ201BL, it is with single mode Bypass and the throughput-guaranteed distance can be extended up to 2km for better deployment. With the outstanding features mentioned, both AEWIN new Network Expansion Modules are here to fulfill the demanding needs of next-generation network solution for a wide range of applications. Don’t hesitate to talk to AEWIN friendly sales to know more.
