BIS-5101 is a rack-mountable 4.5U desktop workstation system with single 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processor based on the Ice Lake-SP platform. This new generation of Xeon processors brings significant improvement in core count and IPC, elevating the overall performance to a new level. With total of 64x PCIe Gen4 lanes, it offers enough bandwidth for any PCIe based accelerators. BIS-5101 is designed to accommodate 2x over sized dual-width accelerators such as 2x RTX-3080, or workstation/data center-oriented portfolio such as A30 or A100. With single-width accelerators, it can support 2x with full PCIe Gen4 x16 bandwidth, plus 3x more with PCIe Gen4 x8 bandwidth. This allows the BIS-5101 to flexibly support training and inference workloads depending on the configuration. With on-board BMC, you can enjoy the ease of management previously only available to server class hardware. Another reliability enhancing feature taken from data center is the support for 2x redundant CRPS power supplies to ensure the highest availability.
