AEWIN Technology, an experience network appliances provider, today announced SCB-1739,  its latest 1U platform powered by Intel Atom processors. Leveraging the Intel Atom processors’ high integration and low latency network acceleration,  SCB-1739 provides advanced computing power and scalability. To have optimized power, another SKU can accomplish the requirement with less than 45W for intelligent security applications where power is limited, and certain computing workloads are required.

Benefited by Intel Atom processors increased efficiency of its cores with Intel Dynamic Load Balancer (Intel DLB), SCB-1739 presents an incredible boost of performance compared to previous 1U platforms. Designed with the strong point of CPU integrated ethernet (up to 8 ports, 100Gb), SCB-1739 features cost-effective 8x SFP+ with extensive compatibility and reliability. In addition, SCB-1739 has 4x RJ-45 GbE ports with Bypass, 2x copper RJ-45 ports for IPMI and management port, and 2x PCIe Gen3 x8 slots for Network Expansion Modules to offer scalable network connections. Regarding the second SKU, it is with up to 8 cores of Atom processor.

Utilizing the Atom processor’s integrated Ethernet, packet acceleration with Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK), inline security acceleration with Intel QuickAssist Technology (Intel QAT), and encryption support with IPSec (Internet Protocol Security), SCB-1739 has generational leap in packet processing which make it perfect for Network appliances supporting services such as Cyber Security, SD-WAN, ADC, etc.

Faster DDR4 memory up to 2933 MT/s is supported with up to 256GB (2 Channels, 2 DIMMs per Channel). Along with the capabilities of optimized virtualization, including Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel VT) for IA-32, Intel 64 and Intel Architecture (Intel VT-x), SR-IOV (Single Root I/O Virtualization), and VMDQ (Virtual Machine Device), SCB-1739 provides a balance of power efficient computing with enhanced integrated network applications. Without compromising the security, they are with technologies of Intel Boot Guard, Co-Signed Verified Boot, Intel Trusted Execution Technology (Intel TXT), Intel Platform Trust Technology (Intel PTT), to secure the system.

As the latest generation product, SCB-1739 combines various features in one as versatile network appliances. Not only do they embody the excellent processing power of Intel Atom processors, but they also benefit from AEWIN’s 20+years of experience in designing network systems for performance optimization and enhanced reliability.
