AEWIN Announces the latest NFV101 and NFU201: 200G Network Expansion Modules Powered by Intel Latest E830 Series Chipset

AEWIN is glad to release the latest 200 GbE Network Expansion Modules, NFV101 and NFU201. Powered by Intel E830-CCAM1 controller, NFV101 and NFU201 are AEWIN standard Expansion Module form factors supporting the highest configuration of the chipset of PCIe Gen5 x8 with fast speed and low latency for advanced networking applications. The front-access design makes the module easy to maintain/service and it is compatible with various kinds of AEWIN existing platforms providing great flexibility to achieve high throughput demands of the market.

It features Dynamic Device Personalization (DDP), workload-specific optimizations which can be enabled by a programmable pipeline for improved packet processing efficiency. Along with DPDK, it offers enhanced packet forwarding performance. To achieve the utmost utility of the system, single-Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) allows PCIe extensions among multiple VMs to enhance I/O performance. Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) is supported to improve throughput by offloading network I/O management from hypervisor to ethernet controller to improves network throughput for VMs.

NFV101 offers a single 200GbE port while NFU201 provides dual 100G port for a total of 200G throughput. AEWIN also offers ready-to-use NICs with copper or fiber ports in 1G/2.5G/10G and fiber ports with 25G, 40G, and 100G. The wide range of Network Interface Cards offering enable AEWIN to tailor configuration per requirement in a second. With AEWIN, customers can easily manage their supply chain with great efficiency.
