Dual 10G Network Expansion Module with Bypass

The NCT202A is AEWIN’s latest Network Expansion Modules, powered by the Intel® X710-AT2 chipset, with 2x 10GbE ports (supporting interfaces of 10GBASE-T/NBASE-T/1000BASE-T/100BASE-T) and one pair copper bypass. Based on AEWIN standard Expansion Module form factor for PCIe x8 connection, the front-access design makes it easy to adopt to various kinds of AEWIN existing platforms from 1U edge network appliance to mission-critical high-powered 2U servers.

Applying the method of direct access memory to deal with multiple virtual machines via Single-Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) and reducing overhead associated with I/O switching to improve throughput & overall system function via Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq). The NCT202A also offers enhanced packet forwarding performance with the software support of DPDK. Along with Dynamic Device Personalization (DDP), workload-specific optimizations can be enabled by a programmable pipeline for improved packet processing efficiency. By having all these features, the NCT-202A can help the system to achieve the utmost utility.

Its network bypass is available to maintains network connectivity to provide maximum availability for the network when system fails. With the integration of NCT202A and AEWIN edge network appliances, the exact configurations can be built per customers’ requirements with ready-to-use solutions. Don’t hesitate to discuss your own needs with AEWIN friendly sales, we shall tailor the system for you accordingly.
