The SCB-1933 MEC is a 2U Rack-Mount hardware networking system. Supporting Intel® Whitley/Ice Lake-SP with efficient performance processor Xeon® scalable series and Intel® C621A PCH (codenamed Lewisburg). The new generation platform provides highly performance, CPU cores up to 38 cores, 3 Ultra Path Interconnect (UPI) links per CPU up to 11.2 GT/s.
The SCB-1933 MEC supports 4 channels DDR4 register ECC RDIMM (up to 3200 MHz), and maximum memory capacity is up to 1TB with 64 PCI
Express lanes per CPU, the SCB-1933 MEC can support up to 8x Network Expansion Modules (or 4x Network Expansion Modules + 2x PCIe x16 full-heigh, full-length PCIe slots). It can support multiple Ethernet module bays for flexible port configuration, such as 1/10/40/100 Gigabit fiber, Gigabit Copper/Fiber with BYPASS function or not. The maximum capable Ethernet bandwidth up to 800GbE. The SCB-1933 MEC SKU support 2x high performance dual-width GPU card, such as NVIDIA® V100, A100, A30, T4 accelerators, along with 4x Network expansion modules.
The strong IO elements of SCB-1933 MEC include two management Ethernet port (one for management, another for option IPMI function), a console port, USB ports, LEDs for power/ HDD/ 2x GPO. In addition, the SCB-1932 also supports two front-swappable 2.5” SATA HDDs/SSDs and onboard CompactFlashTM/m-SATA/miniPCI-E, M.2 slot for network storage application.
