The SCB-1943C is one of AEWIN’s latest 2U performant Edge Computing System powered by single Intel 5th Gen Xeon Scalable Processor codenamed Emerald Rapids-SP. With increased computing power, enhanced high-speed interfaces, and great scalability, the SCB-1943C supports 8x DDR5 5600MHz memory slots, 4x PCIe 5.0 x8 slots for AEWIN self-design NICs with 1G to 100G copper/fiber interfaces with/without bypass function, and two dual-width PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 slots for accelerators such as GPUs and DPUs.
SCB-1943C not only delivers high throughput and low latency for compute intensive workloads, but also provides accelerator expansions for AI workloads. To speed up data-loading, two hot-swappable U.2 NVMe SSD trays are available at the front panel. Customers can choose to have additional four SATA storages for high-capacity support. The mainboard itself also supports dual M.2 2280 NVMe SSD as high-speed OS boot devices. Furthermore, it supports Intel Data Streaming Accelerator (DSA) to optimize the transmission and speed up streaming data movement by offloading compute-intensive operations from the CPU.
Regarding the reliability and security, the SCB-1943C supports OT006B, Trusted Platform Module (TPM2.0), to allow authentication of hardware devices to ensure the integrity of the hardware platform. In addition, Intel SGX is supported to isolate sensitive data and protect them from attack. Moreover, there is enhanced Intel QuickAssist Technology (Intel QAT) to accelerate data encryption, compression and decryption for secure content delivery.
