AEWIN offers SCB-1836 as a mainstream 1U Network Appliance supporting the latest Intel Core Processors. Shared the same LGA1700 of 12th/13th/14th Gen Intel Core Processor, it supports the latest Intel Core Processor, Barlett Lake-S, for an exceptional balance of computing power and energy efficiency. With hybrid SKUs offering up to 24 cores and 32 threads and DDR5 memory up to 5600 MHz, the SCB-1836 is optimized to process massive data workloads rapidly while maintaining effective power management.
For enhanced performance, P-core SKUs of Intel Core processors (BTL-S) supporting up to 12 P-cores (24 Threads) are expected to enter production in Q4 2025. With BTL-S P-core processors, the SCB-1836 is suitable for edge computing scenarios that demand deterministic performance for consistent and predictable system behavior under heavy workloads. Unlike Intel Core Ultra processors (Arrow Lake-S) with a higher pin count LGA1851 package and integrated NPU for AI workloads, the BTL-S processors emphasize pure CPU performance, which makes the SCB-1836 a powerful and efficient choice for compute-intensive edge applications.
SCB-1836 has two PCIe 5.0 slots possessing twice the speed compared to PCIe 4.0 to accelerate the transmission. The two PCIe Gen5 x8 slots can support the latest 200G NICs, NFV101 & NFU201, based on Intel E830 controller for high throughput networking. There are additional two PCIe 4.0 slots for installing a wide range of AEWIN NICs from 1GbE to 100GbE with optional Bypass function to build flexible configurations.
In addition to the great capability and function mentioned, the SCB-1836 has 300W redundant PSU for outstanding sustainability and reliability. It can also serve storage applications as it contains multi-storage medias including 3x SATA 3.0 and one mSATA. Furthermore, it supports an optional IPMI module for better management control. All the features mentioned make it suitable for diverse network solutions like Cybersecurity, NGFW/UTM, SD-WAN, and uCPE.
