AEWIN launched the newest 2U performant Edge Computing Server, SCB-1947C, powered by single AMD Zen4c EPYC 8004 Series processor codenamed Siena. Benefited by the 5nm production technology, the latest AMD Siena CPU has extreme density of 2CCX\/CCD to have up to 64 cores and lower energy consumption of 225W TDP compared to EPYC SP5 processors. With rich I\/O of 96x PCIe Gen5 lanes, AEWIN designs SCB-1947C with high computing power, energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, excellent expandability to have high-speed communication and AI ability for diverse Edge AI applications.<\/p>\n
The SCB-1947C is a 2U, single-socket platform offering dual-width PCIe x16 slots to support accelerators such as GPU\/FPGA cards. It is with short-depth chassis design of 600mm for easy deployment at edge to enable real-time applications. In addition, there are 4x PCIe 5.0 x8 slots available for additional functions required such as NIC to enable high throughput or other accelerators & NVMe SSDs for high-speed transmission. With the features above, tasks requiring AI workloads can be handled effortlessly at the edge by SCB-1947C.<\/p>\n
Regarding the storage options, there are two hot-swappable U.2 PCIe5.0 NVMe SSD trays at the front panel for easy assembly and high-speed data-loading. Customer can also choose to have internal storage with high-capacity support, up to 4x native SATA SSD. The mainboard itself also supports dual M.2 2280 NVMe SSD as high-speed OS boot devices.<\/p>\n
Regarding the reliability and cybersecurity, the SCB-1947 supports OT006B module for AEWIN Trusted Secure Boot (TSB V2 module) to deliver the first line of firmware security defense during boot-up process. TPM 2.0 module is also supported to allow authentication of hardware devices to ensure the integrity of the hardware platform.<\/p>\n
